HARD FACTS Uploader
HARD FACTS Uploader is a private tool I built for myself. It uploads videos I make to my own YouTube channel, @HARD_FACTS_in_Life, using YouTube's official API. Nobody else uses it. This page says plainly what it touches, what it keeps, and what it never does.
What it accesses
The app connects to my own YouTube channel — and only my channel — for one reason: to upload videos I choose to upload. When I tell it to post a video, it sends that video file, along with the title, description, and settings I gave it, to YouTube through Google's official API.
That's the whole job. Nothing else on my account is opened, read, or changed.
What it stores
- A login token. After I sign in with Google once, the app keeps a token in secure storage so I don't have to sign in again every time I upload. That token is the only credential it holds, and it lives in secure storage — not in a plain file, and not shared anywhere.
- Nothing about anyone else. The app has no other users, collects no analytics, and keeps no logs of viewers, subscribers, or visitors.
I can revoke the token at any time from my Google account's security settings, which cuts the app off completely.
What it never does
- It never reads my emails — or anyone's. It has no access to Gmail at all.
- It never shares anything with anyone. No data is sold, rented, sent to advertisers, or handed to third parties.
- It never uploads anything I didn't tell it to. Every upload starts with me picking the video.
- It never posts, comments, or changes anything on the channel on its own.
Who it's for
Just me. HARD FACTS Uploader isn't offered to the public, has no sign-up, and doesn't take in anyone else's information. If that ever changed, this page would be updated first.
